What does Julia stand for and what can you expect when she's your MP? Julia has a reputation for action and straight talk. She has a track-record of success and runs a thriving business in Leeds. She has many interests but three issues come top of her list for change.

1. Crime and anti-social behaviour
With some of the worst burglary rates locally and shocking incidences of anti-social behaviour, we urgently need more police on our streets. We will scrap unnecessary paperwork and put police back on the beat. In fact, we've already funded more PCSOs locally.

2. NHS - excellent local services and new children's hospital
We will give the NHS independence from politicians and focus on quality local care, like that given by the Wharfedale Hospital. And David Cameron is the only leader to say 'Yes' publicly to a proper new children's and maternity hospital, rather than the 'extension'.

3. A fair deal on transport
The Conservatives have put more money into roads across the area and pledged to begin a new High Speed Rail link between Leeds and London on taking office. It is time Leeds became a transport priority and under the Conservatives this will happen.
