"This election is different and it's different here. In this key marginal seat, your vote will help change our government. In the last local elections here we pushed the Liberal Democrats into second and Labour into a poor third. So don't believe spin we can't win. Voting anything other than Conservative here will only help keep Labour in. Why risk 5 more years of Gordon Brown? We've proven we can win, so let's do it again. Please vote for the change our country so badly needs."

28 April update. Conservative plans to give parents the right to set up new schools were brought alive this week when David Cameron and Michael Gove met a group of parents in Yorkshire who want to do just that. See the video here - it's inspiring. It's what 'The Big Society' or people power is all about.
Students and politics. Leeds North West is the 9th youngest constituency in the UK, due to our high student population. We wanted to bring Boris on campus to meet students, but the Uni's election policy meant this wasn't possible. We believe a real opportunity has been missed to get students involved in the election. However, we did have a good hustings at Bodington, which was well-attended. Thanks everyone for coming along.
