Julia is a local Yorkshire girl. A Garnett by birth, Julia’s family goes back to the 1700s in Otley. She has lived in and near Leeds North West for much of her life, attending Farnley C of E Primary School, just 1.5 miles from Otley. She is married to Patrick with two daughters and runs a successful business in Leeds.

Julia believes it’s time we got a better deal. We have some of the worst crime in Leeds. Labour has fudged the new children’s hospital. We get a raw deal on transport and inadequate Government funding for Leeds is now impacting on local services and council tax. This must change. We we have a chance for a local Conservative MP and Conservative Government who will prioritise Leeds. To get a better deal for Leeds North West we need an MP at the heart of government with real say. This means voting for change, locally and nationally.
